The XR-7 is the latest PC-based USB scan tool. It supports all OBD-II protocols and it works with a number of compatible programs both free and paid. This Elm Compatible Interface allows you to connect your car to your PC/Laptop via USB and troubleshoot any problems in your vehicle by reading the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) that appear when the "check engine" light is showing. Besides displaying DTC codes, it will allow you to scan live data right from your car's computer.
